Nmin Measurement Campaign 2026 Fully Booked in Just Ten Days

BO Akkerbouw’s Nmin measurement campaign reached full capacity in just ten days. A total of 12,680 fields have been registered for sampling. A significant milestone for the sector and for Rovecom Q-ray, which, as BO Akkerbouw’s IT partner, developed the digital platform for the campaign.

Greater Insight into Nitrogen Levels After Harvest

On 1 September, BO Akkerbouw launched its nationwide Nmin measurement campaign. Arable farmers, livestock farmers and other agricultural businesses could register fields to have the soil’s mineral nitrogen residue (Nmin) measured after harvest.

Interest in the campaign was high, with full capacity reached within just ten days. From 15 October to 30 November, the registered fields will be sampled by participating laboratories.

The results provide farmers with greater insight into the amount of mineral nitrogen remaining in the soil after harvest. This information helps them better manage crop growth and contributes to reducing nitrate leaching into groundwater.

IT That Moves the Sector Forward

Rovecom Q-ray has been BO Akkerbouw’s IT partner since last year. Together, we are working on a future-proof IT landscape with digital solutions that support agricultural businesses in their day-to-day operations.

The digital platform for the Nmin measurement campaign is the first solution we have developed as part of this partnership. Its successful launch demonstrates how technology, industry expertise and collaboration can come together to create software that delivers real value in practice.

In the coming period, the focus will be on soil sampling and further processing of the results. At the same time, BO Akkerbouw and Rovecom will continue to develop new digital solutions for the arable farming sector.

We look forward to continuing this successful partnership!
